Hammer & Rose is a handyman service for seniors and their families in the Columbus, Ohio area. Hammer & Rose is a registered trade name of M66 Ventures LLC. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect when you contact us or book a visit, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We keep this simple on purpose: we collect what we need to do the work you asked for, and nothing else. We do not sell your information.

Information we collect

When you request service — on this website, or by calling or texting us — we collect:

Your name and phone number.
The service address where the work will be done.
Your email address, if you give us one for a confirmation.
What you need done, and any photos you choose to send us.
Whether the visit is for you or for a family member, and if the person receiving service is 60 or better (this is only used to apply the senior discount).
Who referred you, if anyone.

Phone calls

Calls to our business number are answered by an automated assistant that can schedule a visit, take a message, or connect you to a person. The assistant identifies itself as automated at the start of every call.

Calls are recorded and transcribed so that we have an accurate record of what you asked for. We use recordings and transcripts only to serve you and to improve how we answer the phone. Recordings are deleted after 90 days. If you would prefer not to be recorded, hang up and use the form on this website or send us an email instead.

Text messages

If you give us a mobile number when you request service, we may send you:

A confirmation when your visit is scheduled.
A reminder the day before your visit.

That is all. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages. Message frequency is low — typically two messages per visit. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop messages at any time by replying STOP, and get help by replying HELP. Replying STOP will not affect your scheduled visit; we will simply call you instead.

We do not share your mobile information. No mobile information — including your phone number, and your consent to receive text messages — will be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party.

How we use your information

To schedule, prepare for, and carry out the work you requested.
To contact you about your visit — confirmations, reminders, and the call we make the day before.
To give you an accurate price, and to send you a receipt or invoice.
To keep ordinary business records, including for tax and insurance purposes.
To apply the senior discount and the referral credit where they apply.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We do use a small number of trusted service providers to run the business, and they only handle your information on our behalf:

Supabase — stores our booking records, photos and call records (United States).
Twilio — carries our phone calls and text messages.
ElevenLabs — powers the automated assistant that answers the phone.
Resend — delivers our confirmation emails.
Vercel — hosts this website.

We may also share information when the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect someone's safety.

Payment

Payment is taken after the work is done, in person. We never ask for card numbers over the phone, and our automated assistant is not able to take them. We do not store card details.

How long we keep it

Call recordings: 90 days.
Call transcripts and summaries: about one year.
Job records, invoices and receipts: as long as we need them for business, tax and insurance purposes.
Photos you send: kept with the job record, in private storage that is not publicly accessible.

Your choices

Stop text messages — reply STOP to any message.
Ask us what we hold, or ask us to correct or delete it — just call or email; we will do it.
Prefer not to be recorded — use the form on this website or email us instead of calling.

Children

Our services are for homeowners and their families. This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
